Full Compliance

Georgia Southern University is currently in compliance with this standard. On page 2, of the 2004-2005 Undergraduate and Graduate Catalog , it states:

  “Georgia Southern University is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, 1866 Southern Lane, Decatur, GA 30033-4097, 404-679-4501, www.sacscoc.org, to award associate, bachelor’s, master’s, specialist’s, and doctoral degrees. The Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) should be contacted for information about the accreditation status of Georgia Southern University, not for general admission information.”

The University’s accreditations are also listed on the Georgia Southern University web site where one finds the text “Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, 1866 Southern Lane, Decatur, GA 30033-4097, 404-679-4501, www.sacscoc.org.”
