Requirement 4.6: Recruitment materials and presentations accurately represent the institution’s practices and policies.Full Compliance Student recruitment materials produced by Georgia Southern University, including web sites, the 2004-2005 Undergraduate and Graduate Catalog, and the 2003-2004 Viewbook, are consistent with one another and also accurately represent the University’s practices and policies for both recruitment and admission. The University’s web site for prospective undergraduate and graduate students is clearly designed (and hence user-friendly) and offers extensive links to other sites providing virtually any information an interested applicant might need. Among the links provided are those to the Provost’s Office, the Office of Admissions, Financial Aid, and Housing. An interview with Dr. Teresa Thompson, Associate Vice President for Admissions and Enrollment Management ( Thompson@georgiasouthern.edu, 912-681-5534), reveals that the University’s recruitment materials do, in fact, align with its published policies and practices.
